FRESH MEAT YUM.
This game is downright outstanding, the game play is as hard as those old-school arcade and NES games, which fits nicely with the whole new-retro feel this game has. The characters, though simplistic, clash nicely with the lush, vibrant, detailed backdrops, and further add to the style as a whole.
I believe the game isn't that hard, but the only reason I have difficulty is the slippery controls, however, this is explainable, considering I am playing as a slab of meat. This is what makes the game quite challenging.
The soundtrack is totally engrossing, fits nicely in, and is pleasurable to listen to. The death sounds are totally awesome.
Overall, this is one of those games, like Alien Hominid, that downright deserve to be put on consoles. I am totally buying Super Meat Boy the very day it comes out.
